Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you never buy anything, we collect nothing about you. If you buy a block, we store:

• your email address, so we can send your receipt and your edit link
• your artwork, stored as raw pixel colors
• your destination URL and alt text, which are shown publicly on the cube
• the position, size, and price of your block
• a Stripe session and payment identifier, so we can match a payment to a block

We never receive your card number. Stripe handles the entire payment and only tells us whether it succeeded.

What is public

Your artwork, destination URL, alt text, block position, size, and price are public. They appear on the cube, on your block page, and in the block listing. Your email address is never published.

Cookies

We use no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third party scripts. The site sets exactly one cookie, and only for the site administrator signing in to the admin page. It is strictly necessary for that sign in and is not used to track anyone. Because of that, there is no cookie banner.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of processors, each only for the purpose listed:

• Stripe, to take payment and send receipts
• Vercel, to host the site and serve pages
• Neon, to store the database
• Resend, to send your edit link email

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Block records, artwork, destination URLs, and alt text are kept for as long as the block is displayed, since that is the product. Purchase records are kept as long as we need them for tax and accounting. Unpaid reservations are deleted automatically once they expire.

Your rights

Email support@thepixelcube.com to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting your data means removing your block from the cube. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the CCPA, and we will honour those requests.

Children

The site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
